There are of course quite a few sites in my RSS feed that I read, or I’d like to read every day, to keep myself informed. Now I’ll share with you the best sites that can give some design inspiration. This is good for practically anybody: if you are a designer, you obviously want to watch how others are doing, if you just simply love great design, than you’ll enjoy looking at these great works, and if you are a client, you can get some idea what’s your favourite colour scheme and style.
Abduzeedo is a great resource for inspiration. They post every day a daily inspiration and you can get your weekly beautiful websites and fonts also. It’s just a bottomless pit of inspiration, and it doesn’t matter that you are a web designer, or an architect.
Chris Spooner has been making his blog for quite some time now, and he always has some great ideas. This site is more of a tutorial site, but nonetheless you can find some great inspirational ideas.
Vectips is also more of a tutorial site, but they post a weekly inspiration, so you can regularly find some unique and interesting vector art here. If you like this non-realistic type of art, then look around a bit.
Creative overflow is just full of ideas. They have stock images, vector art, logos, typography tips, you can find stuff to read and watch here for sure! But this site needs a bit more exploration and attention, you can’t just go in there and watch pretty pictures – like with Abduzeedo.
On Webdesignshock you can find anything about web design. If you are a web designer, your place is here. You can learn a lot from this site – and if you are someone seeking a new website, then I can really suggest this site to you, beside the professional mumbo-jumbo there are a lot of useful tips and stuff to look at when you are searching for a new site.
So these are basically the main sites I like to look at and get some inspiration from. Hope you enjoyed ‘em.
